First Storm, 11/8/02

They tell me it's going to be an El Nino year. Usually the rainy season starts off with some light rain and works up to major storms in December or January. This year, the first rain of the season was a major full-blown storm. One tourist got washed away by a big wave, and is now shark food. I happened to be taking a vacation day when the storm came through, so I was able to shoot a few pictures.

The damage to Zelda's deck was caused by a log that floated down from the mountains, not by waves.
